Aftercare for you and your baby is just as important as prenatal care.

After you deliver your baby, a follow-up appointment with your OB/GYN and your baby’s first visit to his/her medical physician are very important.

To encourage you to keep your appointments, we offer:

  • A $50 MedStar Family Choice Prepaid Mastercard® for receiving your first postpartum appointment. Postpartum appointment MUST be kept 21-56 days after your baby is born.

  • Up to $190 in prepaid cards for getting your baby’s nine well-child visits before 30 months of age and a lead test before 12 months of age.
